Science and the Exploration of Seasons

First graders have been exploring Next Generation Science Standards this Month!

We are looking at 

Earth and the Solar System: Seasonal patterns of sunrise and sunset can be observed, described, and predicted.

AND

Making observations at different times of year to relate the amount of daylight to the time of year.

Check out some of the progress we have been making in this area.

Try to borrow some of these from the Westwood Public Library to continue these conversations!
